Pros and Cons of PS3 ORIGINAL AND SLIM?
what are the pros and cons( good and bads) of the ps3 original and the silm version thanks
also does the ps3 both allow me to play ps2 games and can i save my ps2 games data on the ps3 thanks
mmm the big original one was a bit bigger and had the PSU in build, the lite one had a powerbrick psu. Meaning that some of the not so huge heat production was moved away. Also the slim model has smaller chip production and overall just uses less energy.
Functionality is all the same 
The only PS3's that can play PS2 games are the launch models. They have the required hardware parts out of the PS2. The PS2 has two main chips the Emotion Engine, the cpu and the Graphic Synthesizer [GPU]
To play PS2 games you can do without the EE as the european launch models miss. But they always require the GS to run PS2 games. The EE can be emulated but the GS is just to specialistic.
The PS3 you find in the shops today all miss the EE and th GS. And hence won't play PS2 games.
If you find one that does then you can create virtual PS/PS2 memory cards.
