Why does lseek gives error here?
Why am I getting the error in lseek. The error was "invalid argument". For what issue do we get this error.

As far as I know, lseek shouldn't fail on a file that was opened for append as JohnAdriaan says; why would it? Programming languages aren't designed to fail when you do something that is redundant; they only fail when it doesn't make sense.

I just ran your program on my own computer, and it works:
