Can I mount Canon lenses with Sony A55?

Can I use Canon lenses in my Sony Alpha A55? Then how to mount the canon lenses on this camera? Is any adapter required for that? I am awaiting valuable answers from you and thanks for your answers in advance.

The mounts are completely different so no. There may be an adapter available but I've not seen one.
Also be aware that even if you do get an adapter often the lens won't have power to it so no Auto Focus or exposure.

Why not just buy Sony lenses?
