Umm.... come on now... think a little. That is an open mesh pocket that offers no protection for whatever is inside it. How can you not see and understand that? If you put a glass filter in there that is not in any kind of holder, then something sharp or abrasive could easily scratch it through that open mesh. It is fine to use if you have the filters in their original, protective cases, but not to put bare glass filters into.
