Does a dslr lens fit onto a Film Slr camera body?

I've got a Pentax SLR film camera body. I want to buy a Macro Lens that's AF.

I'm not sure if its originally for film slr or dslr.

I'm new to photography.

Unless your Pentax is part of the "SF" series (SF1, SF1n, SF10) an Auto Focus lens will be useless on it. All Pentax cameras prior to the "SF" series were manual focus. The macro lens you need for a manual focus Pentax is the SMC Pentax-M 100mm f4 Macro. Here is one I found on eBay, Item # 140587427535.

There is a 50mm version of the same lens but I recommend the 100mm version due to its greater working distance which is useful when photographing bees or wasps.
