Xbox live connection?

I got a linksys wireless router and a Xbox 360 adapter. I set up a wired connection with the router and computer. Then it says : go wireless. So i start installing it to be wireless. Then it says insert adapter, so i do, but then it says it cannot fing or confirm adapter, so i cant continue. Any body know how to do this? Or does any body know whats wrong?

Ok, if you have the capability to hook up your xbox 360 with a wire, do that. It's much much easier and more reliable, and you don't have to spend 100$ on the wireless adapter.

If you absolutely cannot run a wire to the 360 (or don't want to), then the USB adapter for the back of the 360 should work for you. You should just be able to plug it in and have it work.
