What caused a thin white horizontal line near the screen bottom of my Canon power shot sx120 IS to appear?
I've only had the camera 7 months and now this line shows up all the time. It doesn't appear in my photos however once I put them on my desktop.
If that line doesn't show up once your shots are uploaded then there's nothing wrong with the sensor.
I'd say it's a problem with the screen. Get in touch with Canon because your camera should be still under warranty. You may have to send it off to Canon for a replacement screen but under warranty it shouldn't cost you anything.
