Help!! Microscopic blood in urine And pain?

Recently I've been having pain around growing area and they found microscopic blood in my urine which is not visible to the human eye. I went to the ER recently and did a CT scan to check if I have bladder cancer and the results came back that my bladder showed to signs of bladder mass or cancer on the pictures. I went to a urologist today and wants to do a cytoscopy which is a camera tube inserted into my penis into the inside of my bladder to see what's inside. My doctor says I shouldn't be worried but I can't help being nervous. Also a urine test will be placed to see abnormal cancer blood cells. Anyone has gone through this? If so what happened? Thanks
oops i meant that they didn't find any signs of bladder cancer with CT scan pictures...

First of all in the urinary sediment they might be able to guess whether the red blood cells are from the bladder or they come from the kidneys. Now if I were your doctor I would do an urography/pyelography, before thinking of cystoscopy. Microscopic hematuria may be caused by glomerulo-pyelonephritis (sort of infections to the kidneys), for example, so a cystoscopy may come negative, and no problem solved.
